Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) has an excellent ground transportation infrastructure, giving passengers a variety of options to choose from. The public bus service is cheap, regular and reliable, while an even cheaper alternative is to take a free hotel shuttle, which are frequently available.

Door to door private shuttles and taxis are also available but more expensive, while limousines can be hired by those wanting to travel in style.

Buses

The Municipality of Anchorage People Mover Bus service operates at 30 minute intervals from various stops at the airport. The services run to downtown Anchorage and the Diamond Center.

Hotel Shuttles

Many local hotels provide free airport pickups for guests staying at their establishments. If you have already booked a room prior to traveling, then contact your hotel to check the availability of this service. Alternatively, choose a hotel from the information board and call them to arrange pickup on arrival.

Taxi Cabs

Taxis are available at both terminals for journeys to downtown Anchorage and beyond. South Terminal's taxi rank is located by the ground transportation island, while North Terminal's taxi rank is situated immediately outside the Arrivals Hall.

Limousines

There are no limousine companies represented at the airport. However, local companies such as My Chauffeur Limousine Service (tel: +1 888 6851155) and Auroral Limousines (tel: +1 888 500 1521) can provide limousine service by prior arrangement.
